Heliboogie returns to Kjerag in June 2026, a community gathering in one of the world’s most iconic BASE locations. A full week of jumping, special happenings, and the atmosphere that only happens when the zoo comes together in Lysebotn.

TRAVEL TO AND STAYING IN LYSEBOTN
Lysebotn is remote and spectacular — plan your travel in advance.
Nearest airport: Stavanger Sola (SVG).
FROM STAVANGER AIRPORT (SVG)
The closest airport is Stavanger Sola (SVG). There are hotel options by the airport for late flight arrivals.
Renting a car and driving the mountain pass or catching the ferry across the fjord is the simplest option.
Public transport is also available, typically via Sandnes and then onward to Lauvvik ferry terminal — from there you can continue by passenger ferry. Check the Kolumbus route planner for timetables.
Additional transport options may be announced closer to the event.
FERRY OPTION (LAUVVIK)
Car and passenger ferries operate from Lauvvik.
Check schedules in advance and book tickets when required.
FUEL & EV CHARGING
Fuel up in Suleskard before the mountain pass. SBK’s private fuel station is reserved for operations/emergencies.
EV charging is available at the DNT lodge.
FOOD AND SHOPPING
Lysebotn is small — do your main shopping before arrival.
Two small shops sell basic packaged food (DNT lodge + Lanhandel).

Cabins, camping, and B&B options in and around Lysebotn.
DNT CABINS
A range of rooms and budgets at the Lysefjorden lodge.
Base jumpers get 10% discount on food and 10-15% discount on rooms depending on the amount of days you book.
KJERAG CAMPING
Tent/caravan and cabins/rooms.
Base jumpers get 10% discount on camping spot. Free showers for guests.
HAUANE B&B
A cosy, charming B&B about 10 minutes up the valley.
